Viva la France! The newest addition to the World Cup menu reflects a whole new country and expanded breakfast and lunch options. Our mini creperie mixes the tradition of the Breton region of France with the down-to-earth sensibilities of the Midwest to create a delicious eating adventure.
The crepe, now considered the national dish of France, is made by pouring a thin batter onto a flat circular griddle, often with a trace of butter on the pan's surface. The batter is spread evenly over the cooking surface of the griddle by distributing it with a special offset spreader. We use authentic French made crepe griddles to ensure the crepes are cooked to perfection.
Then the fun starts! Crepes can be sweet or savory, for breakfast, lunch or dessert, depending on what fillings you choose. The simplest is a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar but the variations are endless, from our more delicate Chicken Florentine crepe, all the way to our Five-star Breakfast crepe with 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and cheese.
